Comments: I just found your station and wanted to say THANK YOU SO MUCH! What a vehicle for 12 Step work, fellowship, possibility for the musicianship in recovery (and a great sponsor tool!) One thing I never thought I would recover was my musicianship and as with everything else in my life-recovery life and the first 164 pages of the Big Book have not only brought it back to me but it has never been better.

Comments: I recently had the pleasure of working as a volunteer with the Recoveryfest in Nashville. I heard about 12stepradio from Gracie H. at a committee meeting several months ago. I keep it on when I'm home and hope to help spread the word about your awesome project. I met someone from 12stepradio briefly at the end of the Recoveryfest evening and told them I had spent 25 years in public education taking simple ideas (usually from children) and working to make them realities. When you tell a child the sky is the limit and one person CAN make a difference they usually believe you. As adults we tend to become callous to new ideas and far fetched goals. I'm so impressed with your dedication to this and can only imagine the personal satisfaction you must have experienced watching your idea take shape and become a reality. Meeting people from various 12 step programs has been such a gift to me. Music reaches so many people. I left the classroom 2 years ago to work on myself...be a mom...and give myself the rare opportunity to volunteer on projects I normally wouldn't have the time for. Although I know work will soon be a necessity again...I can always find time to volunteer for any project that blends music and recovery.

My husband tonight said he wanted to quit and was going to quit his drug use. He does not like to talk to me about it much. He is also sick tonight with fever and his bones hurt. He doesn't know if its a withdrawal or maybe the flu. I am praying that when he feels better, he sticks to his word.

Its been a hard journey for me, but finding Al-Anon has been a life saver for me.
